Do you feel uncomfortable about how you look due to the media's view on perfection? Have you or do you know someone who has an eating disorder? Do you mind if I put your answer in my paper for my class?

I want to get a tattoo (and yes, I've thought about this for over two years, and I'm getting a small ladybug in memory of my grandmother: Whenever we see a ladybug, we say she is watching over us). However, I'm pretty overweight. If I ever lose weight, it will hopefully be a significant amount (100+ pounds), so I need to put the tatoo someplace where it won't be distorted by weight loss/plastic surgery after weight loss.
I've been thinking about:
my ankle
my lower back
my shoulder blade
my foot
Is there anywhere else that would work? I'm going into the heathcare profession, so I need somewhere that can be hidden at job interviews.

because you look really unattractive in (minimal) summer clothing? If so, is it annoying to be referred to as having a "body image" problem when in reality any dumba-s-s can see your flaw plainly when you are out walking to school or work or whatevrer?
How does this effect your day to day doings etc ??? what is your problem specifically, i want to hear your comments!

I know how each of these media affect women, but my problem is that I don’t know how it affects men. With television, I know that there are Bowflex commercials, but I don’t know how magazines and movies influence the men’s body image. I also need references and I don’t know what to search for. Any help please?

ive had distorted body image since the age of 7. and only about 2 years ago when i turned 18, i lost over 60 lbs due to bulimia and restriction of food. im scared for my own good. i lost contact to all my friends. have no social life and am afraid to be seen in public due to my non exsistent self esteem. i cant control the crazy thoughts the process through my head day in and day out. help? any advice please !

I am not happy with mine. I am twenty pounds heavier than I actually am and see myself the way that I was four years ago. It is not how I am now, and it causes me to be overly critical of myself. How do you see yourself, and are you happy with it?
