How overweight do you have to be not to fit in the rides at Disneyland Paris?

by on Jul.12, 2009, under Large

Me and my best friend are going to Disneyland Pairs in 9 months time. We’re both overweight, I’m a size 18 and 5′2. My best friend says she’s heavier than me, she’s 5′6 and said she’s about a size 24. How overweight do you have to be not to fit on the rides?

It is comparable to Anaheim. Physical mobility is the greatest issue. If your friend’s knees are still holding up, she should be fine. You know how some of the rides can be low seating (like getting down into a miniature sportscar. The Pirates ride and Haunted Mansion should be at the top of your list. It’s a Small World, really no problem for any of those.

The flight would be my biggest concern. Be sure you both get up and move around and point and flex your feet while sitting.

I loved Disney Paris. We are going again. Have fun and don’t worry about the ride seating unless you are very tall. Health issues are the true concern. Sometimes heart patients can’t ride, etc.
