I was just wondering how much overweight you have to be to have lap band surgery? I am 5' 6" and I weigh about 205. I have tried dieting, weight watchers and diet pills. I was just wondering if I would be a good canidate for the surgery??
Can anyone recommend poems (or anything else) that have to do with having a positive body image for women?

I'm working on a contemporary performance piece for a talent show, and I'd like to include some poetry. The theme of the piece is celebrating your body, with a focus on plus-sized women. Other than Lucille Clifton's "Homage to my Hips," can anyone think of any poems that have to do with having a positive body image, either as a plus-size woman or a woman in general?
How do I get my overweight cat to exercize?

He's nine years old, and we brought him to the vet last week, and she said he's overweight, and needs to loose five pounds. She suggested we switch him to low-cal cat food and encourage him to excercize more, but he won't eat the food, and when I try to play with him, he just gives me this "are you crazy?" look. Please help!
His twin brother died last month, and we just got him a new little kitten (6mo.) but all he does is hiss and growl at the cat.
